David holds an M.B.A. in e-Commerce from McMaster University and a B.Sc.Eng (Honors) in Engineering from Queen’s University. As a professor at Sheridan College’s Pilon School of Business, they specialize in marketing analytics, developing and teaching courses such as Data-driven Marketing Analytics and Marketing Analysis and Planning. They are skilled in adapting curriculum to both in-class and digital formats, ensuring an engaging learning experience for diverse student backgrounds.
In addition to their academic role, David is the founder of several companies including a digital studio that delivers integrated digital marketing solutions, including strategy development, and data analytics. With over two decades of experience, David has worked with high-profile clients such as General Mills and the Toronto Stock Exchange.
David is certified in numerous analytics programs (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Tableau and PowerBI) and has expertise in a wide range of software tools, including AI and machine learning platforms like IBM Watson and RapidMiner. Outside of work, David is a passionate soccer and hockey coach, having earned the "Coach of the Year" award twice at Oakville Soccer Club.
