Dr. Maninder Kaur Tatla is a dedicated Coordinator for the Computer Systems Technician – Information Technology Infrastructure and Services (CST-ITIS) program and a Professor in the School of Applied Computing at Sheridan College. She holds a Ph.D., M.Phil., and MCA in Computer Science, bringing over 15 years of academic and teaching experience to her role.
Since joining Sheridan College in May 2013, Dr. Tatla has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to student success and academic excellence. She teaches a diverse range of courses including Web Development, Database Design and Management Systems, Operating Systems, Networking, Computer Architecture, and Data Structures,. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she has been actively involved in student advising for many years, helping learners navigate their academic paths and make informed decisions about their future.
She is also the author of six academic books and has published four research papers in national and international journals.
Passionate about education, Dr. Tatla finds great fulfillment in mentoring students, supporting their personal and professional development, and inspiring them to reach their full potential in the evolving field of information technology. She takes pride in guiding students through their academic journey and encouraging them to achieve their academic goals.
